The landing zone, eh? (Yes, I am a stereotypical Canadian who says eh!, not to be confused with Rabbi Krustofsky's "eh."). That is a great idea! Just in case others want to know, how do you determine this (is it where it takes you when you log in? That's what I'm assuming, but I realize I could be wrong).
I think my lands on the Simpsons House, so I would have to move stuff to do that... And I hate moving things (just spent a good majority of the day yesterday moving certain things so I could put Krusty's mansions with the others. Had to move my factories and their decorations, then make everything fit... I may not be super creative with my designs, but I like to have things organized and looking nice for when a neighbour pops in). Maybe next year, though! :Djohncolombo wrote:
I put out some pumpkins (I have over 400) and some dead tree's and pumpkin patches. I don't even remember what else I have in storage from Halloween.
Yeah I have about 250 pumpkins in storage but am afraid to put them all out in case we get new ones this year!suetopia wrote:

Got to look quick for landing zone, before you get wisked over to your castles or houses to be raided.- skollthewolf11 years agoRising NoviceLast year was my first Halloween update, and so far it's been my favorite event since I started playing. I must have spent $100 on the Halloween buildings, skins, decorations, and characters that were available. So I am so psyched for this years Halloween event.
Unlike a number of you who have posted on here, I have no "Halloween district" in my Springfield. Now, don't get me wrong, I have a number of Halloween items out, but they're all mixed up with the other items. I have two pumpkin patches as part of Cletus' farm set-up, and I have dead trees generously sprinkled across the town. The Pumpkin House and Gingerbread House are part of an enchanted city block with Lincoln's Cabin. The Gypsy Fortune Teller Shop is on the dividing line between my lower class neighborhood and the industrial area. The Cemetery is near the community center and the church, and the Pet Cemetery is across the street from the Pet Store and the Krusty Burger. The Ancient Burial Ground is sandwiched between Nelson's House and the Crazy Cat Lady's House in my lower class neighborhood (and across the street from the Tire Fire!). The House of Evil shares a city block with the Noiseland Arcade and Madam Chao's. The Bad Dream House is on display, as are Wailing Walls.
For Halloween, I plan on banking the Lard Lad Donuts I have and replacing it with the First Church of Lard Lad, and I'll place the Mausoleum in a rural area near the Nuclear Plant. I'm also banking the Springfield Skating Rink, and I'm putting the Freak Show Tent in its place. And I'm putting Jack-O-Lanterns everywhere. Pinpal00 wrote:

It sounds like you have a great set up! I've noticed that a good chunk of my neighbours have their Halloween stuff mixed in with other stuff too. But I also have many who have pockets where it's all Halloween items (like a Halloween park or in a wooded area). I'm probably going to put it all in one place during the event, then integrate things that can be integrated later, possibly keeping a little area with some of the items. I haven't really decided yet. There are so many good ideas to ponder over!
