Are you preparing your town for Halloween?

I just went to put out all my pumpkins and zombies and noticed zombies are gone from my inventory in BOTH towns! My pumpkins, dead trees, spooky trees are there but no zombies of any kind. Ticket going in to EA. I also noticed I'm missing snowmen. I will have a closer look now as I have everything the game has put up so far. Check your inventory everyone.

I just relocated my Halloween section, hopefully the dead trees will be available again. Originally had everything from Halloween lumped together but decided to separate it and go for what it looks like instead.

Satan's Anvil is in my new section, along with Homer graves, Vampire Burns coffin, pumpkin house and hanging skeleton trees. Hopefully the event is great like it was last year. No doubt there will be a Halloween contest someone puts up so I'm looking forward to that.

And my candy cottage, even though it was a Halloween item from last year, will instead be in my candy park that includes Christmas candy canes, fudge factory and eventually the fortress of chocolatude.

As a preparation for Halloween, I won't be visiting any of my neighbors today as to reset/synchronize everyone's visit time for the event tomorrow. Then, it will be back on as before. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife... and hide yo husband, for Halloween approaches...

That's not a bad idea, synchronizing your visit times. I have a couple of hours until I do my first round (I do two, and their times have fluctuated, so a reset might not be a bad thing... Hmmm... Not sure yet).

So, neighbours - if you don't get your Friendship visits, this may be why... For those of you who still look like they are trying to complete your COC prizes, I'll still send you your attacks so you can defend and get the coins.

My final preparations include:

All characters will be free in the morning when I wake up (actually they'll be free between 1AM and 5AM).

Any remaining elixir will be spent or poured on the ground for any homies I may have recently lost.

All friend visits will be ready in the morning.

Upgraded all of the main 4 characters for some sweet bragging rights.

Have donuts in hand, as not to have an issue tomorrow purchasing them during the biggest rush of the year.

If I would have had any house farming, this is where I'd store all of it.

Keep anti bacterial wipes on hand for potential drooling as event downloads.

Notify friends and family not to contact me during initial hours of the event, regardless of severity of emergency (school bus fire, leprechaun invasion, zombie dinosaurs rising from their graves.... Wait a minute, dinosaurs didn't have graves, so scratch that one).

Since MrJuanMata (rightly) quoted your whole post, I've highlighted my favorite part.

That being said, I'll refer back to your earlier post about skipping neighbor visits today. I was going to do one last run, but it seems more sensible to skip today and synchronize for Halloween. Thank you for lending logic to my laziness.

Until the storage bug is fixed, I'm keeping everything in my town for this event. It will look ugly until the Halloween event is over, them I nuke everything and rebuild.
