I hope you don't mind me pitching in as I'm not a neighbour but I wondered if a little test I did in my town today would help or not.

I started a thread earlier about getting double handshakes on some of my houses and wondered if it was stackables, so to do a little test I logged into my daughters town and visited my own.

Now I already had two handshakes on the simpson house but was able to tap it again, but... I moved around the screen and it regenerated and I could use all three neighbour taps on that one building!

So when I went back into my own town I still only had two handshakes on that building, not one of the three others had registered. There is something very glitchy going on!

I'm now wondering how many of my neighbour visits I'm not getting and how many of mine are not going through! There is obviously something wrong somewhere!

This could all be related to my missing handshake/graffiti issue.

Possibility: Buildings continue to show tap-able icons, which leads to stacked handshakes. When the stacked handshakes get too high it causes a reset and clears them all. So I'm only seeing the last few things tapped right before I log in.

Further possibility: Once the stacked icons cause a reset it locks out all other taps from registering.

I'm seeing most of the stacked handshakes on my Brown Houses. I'm gonna try removing them and see if this stops. I'll also try spreading my other quick regenerating buildings away from my landing zone so they're less likely to be tapped.
