Well, to be fair, what cost donuts was the ray gun. Those who originally bought it to shoot down Kang were able to later shoot down Kodos without having to pay again. Those who got Kang gratis had to shell out to get Kodos. Everyone who has both aliens paid for the ray gun.

This poll only has half the votes of the worst event poll(s). That's interesting, in a way, but I'd still like to see more votes on this one.

The forum has become a bit more quiet, I think. I think when you did the first one we were still in an Event, so more people were active on the forum asking questions and looking for tips and such - then in turn seeing the poll as well. I'm hoping that we see close to the same number of votes that you had on the first one too - it would definitely be interesting to see the comparative results :D

You may be right that it's less active right now, but I deliberately waited until the Xmas removal update hit to make the worst event poll. I think people just have more vehemence when they don't like something than when they do.

I would be interested to see how this poll correlates to how long people have been playing the game. Later events would presumably rate higher due to having more participants but I'm curious how this "best event" list would look if it were normalized based on participation.

I recall a "how long have you been playing" poll a while back. Maybe someone could run another poll using this event list as the choices (e.g. "what was your first event?" )

(...my secret agenda being to bump up the percentage for my favourite event, Halloween 2012. :P )
