Can my nerd attack fail?
Good question. I've only been sending one nerd per attack. Not sure if that's a good idea or not.

The Nerds are expendable. They don't come back. Also the more Nerds you have in inventory when you begin an attack, lessens the completion time. ex: 20+ Nerds in inventory would result in a 9hr completion time for one Nerd, but 10- would result in a 23hr completion time for 1 Nerd.

I'm always short of nerds because I use them all as soon as they are created, I think the higher completion times depend on the enemy city's castle level (some levels add defense to your town, meaning more hours for all buildings to be destroyed).
