Caught without money again...
When I first started buying huge chunks of land I would keep about 1 million saved just for lvl updates. I would recommend doing the same from here on out

I know what you all mean i spent about 1.5Million on these items on the update and i am now left with 147million left :P
Seriously my daughters town she had just saved up 2million on the basis to buy the escalator to no where and boom an update so she now back to saving up again
It doesnt surprise me that these in game cash items are expensive, there are so many people who say how much in game cash they have and dont know what to do with it (myself included) EA have seen this and put the prices up! The good thing is the items are limited and you can take your time to buy them :)
