- bluntcardRising RookieLots of people miss the older version of the game. The strategy of crafting was fun. The interacting with friends was what made the game fun for me. Finding things left by someone. Leaving things, or tapping on friends characters to change them into something else made it feel like a real event that everyone was involved in. This new format is beyond boring. Zero strategy or engagement.
I wish they would at least make THOH and Christmas like they did back in 2013, 2014. But, still love the game. - Bringing back Friendship Prizes is a step in the right direction to bringing back the “Neighbor” interaction.
Road to Riches is another aspect they need to also bring back. It’s a way for us to use our in game cash on something.
Expanding Springfield Heights is another aspect they need to also bring back. - bluntcardRising RookieI zip right through the story part. I used to read them as part of the fun, but now it just seems tedious. I do think it's just laziness. Easier to write mildly funny text than difficult programming.
Remember how there was a panel that had silhouetted prizes and you had to guess what they'd look like until you won them? That was fun and exciting and clever. - I was never a fan of crafting but I did like the mini games. I wish the casino ones and the Robo-Funzo (minigame from Christmas 2017) ones were permanent.
- I miss it. If they brought back crafting in its original format I'd be happy. What they transformed it into with the level unlocks etc. was tedious. I wouldn't havr that again. As it is now there's no complexity to the game, and not much incentive to play regularly. There have been a couple events i almost didn't complete because I forgot to keep logging in every 4 hours. Yes. That boring.
- EA's response is that they wanted to make the game more story driven. But they sucked out the art and mechanics for font lol. I still love the game but I wish the game was not so 'dry'. Can't even hardly design anymore either. Your only getting maybe 24 new things. And a quarter of that being characters. I've wanted to stop playing but haven't because I'm hoping it will get better. I don't buy cash items if the event is bad. If I enjoy the event then I certainly don't mind! But I'm not supporting laziness. And I think EA put people out of work that worked in tapped out with the layoffs. They probably don't even have the team to make and brainstorm those type of events anymore.

Who misses daily prizes in events? Who misses the crafting items available? who misses the secret mini games...
Around Christmas 2018 tapped out introduced a new event format A.K.A. the current one and I really can't help but miss it is it just me?
No it is not just you, it’s me and a few more.
I didn’t like levelling up by having to buy something I didn’t want, but I did like crafting.
