- I am a 100% freemium player and I don't mind at all that they have gave out a few skins to the premium players that actually pay them to make this game.
Sure, I would rather if they used the more popular premiums I have actually worked hard to earn like Otto or squeky voiced teen but I understand that they are taking this opportunity to promote a few of their other premiums.
Anyway this is my opinion and you're entitled to yours. - Players who spend some money on this game get an advantage over those who don't. That's how it has always been and how it will always be.
- You say that now, but I'm sure by the end of the event you'll have all the prizes and it won't even matter. Whenever Premium characters/items play a role in an event, they don't help that much. Premium players will get some of the prizes faster, but it will all even out by the end.
- They gave you a free stadium, free skins, free decos, so you can play Tap Ball and they give you dozens of other buildings and characters for free so you don't have to pay a dime if you don't want to, but no, that's not good enough. Jasper has o be free. Drederick should be free. Everything you want should be free and EA is greedy for wanting to make money off of their work. What can EA charge for that doesn't earn them the greed label? Seems to me we're all pretty darned lucky to play this game without spending anything if we don't want to and freemium players should stop griping or quit playing.
- They should have given alternative prizes like at Christmas.
- I have been playing this game forever-almost. Yes, I've spent a lot of money ( my prerogative ) and I have all these premium characters. Should I not have an advantage? Should I not get prizes faster? I've seen ea give away for free some things I've spent real money on.. Do I get mad? (Well kinda but I dont post about it). I play Family Guy also- totally fermium player there. I refuse to spend money on it, I never get all the prizes and I know I won't w/o spending the cash. I play, I try and I'm satisfied with what I get. What I'm saying is, you get out what you put in. Period. It's like going to Disneyland, standing in line for an hour and a half only to watch the people with the fast pass walk right up and get on before you. Money talks. This game is a business, businesses are there to make money. If everything was free this game would've been gone a long time ago. I love to play this game, love the concept, love the creativity it brings out in people, love the comradery on this forum. It is was it is people. Take what you have and have fun with it!

Yep, and that should be fine.
I'm also willing to bet that there are a decent number of players who have had at least Tatum since WD (though I'm sure the participants on this forum are skewed). In addition, when they were released, both Gorgeous Grampa (2 years ago) and Fit Milhouse (1 year ago) were free skins for those who were playing.
Yeah, things are skewed towards premium players. That makes sense, they are the ones who keep the game profitable and therefore playable for everyone. And yes, things are skewed towards long-time players, for the same reason (even long-time freemium players likely influence others to play, and some of those are bound to become premium players). It's always going to be a little harder for the newbies and the 100% freemium players, but that's neither new nor inappropriate.- It is nothing like a prize wheel. If you want the premium character, pay for it. If you don't then you have a free skin if you want it later. With the prize wheel, even if you want it, you can pay and not get it.
I'm enjoying the event in both my towns. In my A-town I bought the characters I didn't have if I wanted them. My B-Town is totally freemium. izabellatrix wrote:

This... If people who pay can get stuff faster, what will it matter?ghallmark814 wrote:

Yep, this too. Ever since and including Stonecutters, I've won all the main prizes and more than one of everything else that can be had without donuts. And that is in my freemium town. I've also gotten free donuts in my freemium town; mostly from the bonus donuts. I've had to work at it because it is a grind to get everything without using lots of donuts. But playing every 4 hours for 12 hours seems to be more than sufficient.
