I think we should get the monorail, it should run along the mountain range, and it should open the way to the Springfield gorge and badlands on the other side of the mountains. This is super!! It would solve 3 problems
1 we always need more lands!
2 we know how to add and at the same time how to make usefull the monorail
3 we add the desert and "west Springfield" http://simpsons.wikia.com/wiki/West_Springfield
And it would be the perfect summer event!
