Did anyone buy the Gil deal?

I've sent a few for the 12 hour task and now I have a guy in front of the pool table scratching his behind. Oh and a second one who is deep into scrolling his phone...

I bought it - its all one piece and looks really great. I havent started the questline yet though, so not sure if there are tasks yet. Heres a pic:

I made a football stadium at my Springfield High using tapball uprights, etc., but it looks like an underfunded high school stadium and in my state a tailgate party would be illegal in a school parking lot. A college or professional facility would be great

I just placed it in a field I haven't positioned it anywhere and everybody's still doing the first 12 hour task so it doesn't have any upgrades yet

Are the two characters always there or is it only when you're doing a tack? I don't think I always want them there.
Also, once someone upgrades, can you confirm if you are able to choose different levels like the other upgradeables like the gingerbread mansion?

What does this thing actually do? Does it have a bonus %?

I probably won't get it. It doesn't appeal to me.
