I am having the same problem … can’t buy 132 + McGriff etc., exactly as you described.
Does someone have a solution? … seems like a glitch that needs to be fixed in the store?

When I tap on "Go To" for McGriff the Crime Dog and tap "i" in the blue circle next to him (information) it says 132 Donuts + McGriff the Crime Dog, All seems good, up to that point but tapping on "Go To" does not lead to that option to make that purchase ! It (it only shows the 6 typical donut purchase options (no character), plus cash and XP Multiplier for donut purchases.
