EA launches Origin for Mac (alpha)
Well, Lissa had no luck deleting my 2800+ friend request invites on the PC client, I'm not holding out any hope that this will be any more successful...I will find out soon!

No, it is basically just a client that helps you manage your account via computer rather than in-game. (In-game implementations are vastly different across different games.) There may be other features, but I honestly haven't delved into it very far beyond friend request management.
