I'm old enough to remember the '60s ... As i recall, many many people were trying to "find" themselves. As I recall, many of those people were college students. As I recall, there were lots of drugs around. As I recall, a lot of those college students were experimenting with a lot of those drugs. Coincidence? Perhaps. ;)

(But I'm not sure how many of them actually "found" themselves.). (Or cared.)
