Yes, as Danco replied, if you and your friend both give each other those 400 eggs (to fill the basket), he gives in your basket the same amount you gave in his.
You send 400 to his basket, he gets them, and sends them back in your basket.

In the meantime, each of you receive an additional 200 eggs, from the trade-in value.


It requires some coordination, so that one player doesn't feel cheated in the process. So it works best for owners of multiple towns.

But an unlimited supply of baskets would mean an almost unlimited supply of eggs, if only they increased their drop rate.

And this is great if you are using "free" baskets, but if you are using donuts for baskets, at 10 donuts a piece...

10 baskets @ 10 donuts each = 100 donuts = 4000 pink eggs = 8 pink boxes

for 100 donuts you can buy 5700 pink eggs + 5700 blue eggs = 11 pink boxes + <11 blue boxes or 2800 more pink eggs by putting them in baskets>

the 2800 pink eggs and 200 left from the 5700 pink gives you another 6 pink boxes. for a total of 17 pink boxes for 100 donuts, compared to 8 pink boxes buying baskets.

Sorry for the ramble, but just pointing out if you are buying more than 10 baskets, you are much better off just buying the eggs.
