I feel sorry for your iPad :( lol
Just going to ask a few questions which tbf you may have already done but wanted to ask just in case you havent and it helps your crashing issues
1) Have you plenty of memory on the pad?
2) Have you got loads of friend requests pending? (you may need to go on the origin website to double check this and the in game section doesnt always show how many you have)
3) Is your town very complex? You may need to store some items to reduce the loading / crashing
4) Does it crash when you try and play your game or mainly when you visit certain people?
Sorry for asking these but just trying to help really :)dave3490 wrote:

This is a problem i get, certain people's towns crashing my game when visiting them, i'm assuming it's purely because of the amount of decorations/permanent animated items some of them have in their towns, the town loads up, but just seems to go in slow motion and takes ages to register a tap - even on the home screen button, or i get a black screen where i can hear everything, but the whole game freezes. Not deleting anyone though, don't like doing that. It's no big issue, bit frustrating but nothing restarting my tablet doesn't fix. Got loads free memory as i deleted a few apps i don't use anymore
I have the same issue when using my iPhone4 to play my daughters town, what i found was Zooming quite a way in solves this problem although it does take a little longer to search around looking for things, but on the grand scale it far better :) With peoples town that cause this issue i let the game auto collect as well to try and help.
So in short zoom in on these towns and auto collect - hopefully will help :)
Edit: I dont have any of these issues with my iPhone5 thodave3490 wrote:

Thanks :) I'll give that a try next time and see if it solves the problem :)
Hope it does work :)LPNintendoITA wrote:

Actually, it started on day one of the game release. They even took it off the market to fix it and when it came back it still crashed. At least now when it crashes it saves and doesn't delete half your town or progress.- It's crasheswhen Im in my own sf
I haven't got a very complex sf.
I have been buying bulk land only lately
I'm up to 50k
I have one person who has sent me a friend request
That I can't accept as I'm full
But I have a heap that I had sent out still pending
Should I delete them? - That's odd. Now I have no requests
I didn't delete them. They just vanished
Hmmmmm jadie_baby18 wrote:

You're talking about one's you sent, yes? If so, people may have rejected your friend requests because they, too, are full and know that to have pending friend requests can cause lag.
