Free Rushing (sorry if there's a thread for this)

I've just rushed a couple and nothing bad happened. Perhaps it's a way to help newer players level up quicker, making it possible for them to take part in the events.

I'm just making the most out of it in case it isn't supposed to be there!

This is one of the changes in the game introduced with the update. I think it's there because of the absurd donut cost when you only have a minute to complete a job. So enjoy! It should be a permanent change as this was intentional.

I'm 2 away from the next level of the Town Plaza (148 of 150) and it says "free" to the side.... so I clicked it but it just brings up a "get more" or "cancel" for donuts instead. Ah well....

I remember when Tap Ball had upgrades be significantly cheaper cause you could rush the last several bucks for the next level.

If this is intentional I'm welcoming the improvement.

Yes, they are for tasks.

They work as a percentage of the total time of the task, but I haven't sat down and figured it out yet (not enough data either).

I rushed a task earlier. It's really handy when you forgot to send a character on a task, or if you sent a character on the wrong task and stored a building to free them so you could send them on the correct task. You don't have to wait those extra minutes to keep all your characters in sync.

Does that mean we can rush SH as the task lengths are already short enough?

unlike tap ball which I think the rush for free was a glitch, this time it says FREE in blue letters, so I'd guess it's permanent when you get down to the last few minutes.
