Gil's deal

Is it just the tree? I heard whispers that Santa's Village was a part of it. Any truth to that?

Santa's Village is part of it, but Santa's Village is already 200 donuts. Gil's deal is for 200 donuts. The only difference is Gil throws in the tree, hence the tree is the only thing that's actually a deal.

I can't imagine anyone paying 75 donuts for a second tree, let alone finding the deal of tree+village for 200 donuts worthwhile if they thought 200 for the village was too expensive in the first place. Just seems like such a throwaway "deal" to me.

It really is. Is it some sort of in=joke, because Gil always fails they have him selling a horrible deal? Or are they hoping people will be so distracted by a sale they won't notice its a terrible deal (which psychologically can work)

It seems to hit different people at different times. I got it today, but I think some people got it days ago, maybe it has to do with how far along you are on Christmas tasks? Mine came up right before Apu finished his seven day shift.

The same one. There isn't a second deal.

The Holiday tree gives 10 Santa coins every 24 hours, I'm wondering if you end up having two, does that double your coinage? It should do, and what happens after the Christmas period is over, will it bring forth cash?
