Good use of Giant Magnifying Glass?

I live your idea as well. I also would like to see the giant grasshopper in the magnifying glass and how that looks. I think the best idea I have seen so far is placing the magnifying glass over Mt. Carlmore, so that Carl's face is inside the glass. I loved how that looked. Besides that, I also liked seeing the glass on Kent Brockman while he was tanning. That really was funny and appropriate!!

Previously I had the Magnifying glass keeping Fat Tony's hot tub warm. I liked that, but that was 'borrowed' when I saw it here a little while ago. When Neo mentioned having the Escalator and dumping into the Cooling Towers, I came up with the Tire Fire (but I'm sure that's been done before). So I wanted to be an original poster on the idea, and welcome feedback and those that wish to expand on it.
