Barry has been one of the greatest forum members in terms of answering questions and helping players with their game related issues. Do you maybe have tendonitus in your scrolling finger and that extra 1/4 inch to scroll below this thread causes you immense pain? Most forum members frequent Game Discussion, while a fraction of those members ever check OT. Barry taking a break is game related as far as I'm concerned. Seems like the mods are cool with it, too. So far. Let this thread get it's deserved traffic, man. It'll either be moved, or drop below your annoyance level soon enough.
