This makes sense! I thought I was just getting a bit blind for missing her the past two times (might still be the case). I'm getting rather good at finding her without a sound. I think it adds suspens...

I don't think I've experienced a glitch where she isn't illustrated, but I've occasionally had no sound.
It's prompted me to take the game to the next level. Now i just play with the sound off. It's more challenging and so far I've only ran out of time once.
I'm usually tapping with sound off anyway. You know how they say losing one sense enhances the others? Since doing this, my eyes have improved and i swear i see her quicker now.
Here's a suggestion:
We're familiar with how a visit to KL helps resync some glitchy stuff. Maybe before you launch the mini game, stop by KL first. Do this a few times and see if it eliminates your glitch. Then you may have a useful work around you can report back to us.
