Gremlin Shortage?
I go through spells where I don't get gremlins for a while, and then I start getting them again. I think it's part of the randomness of percentages. I get at least one donut a day visiting 100 friends...

Hmm, not sure about that. I generally end up with around 20 gremlins per day, and that hasn't changed even in the last few days. I have also received plenty of freebie donuts from tapping ghosts, though not as many as some are claiming but then I do restrict my friends list to no more than around 60, as I occasionally need to pay attention to the rest of my life.
