Getting this too, which is weird because the connection is fine on my laptop and even on my iPad, just not on the game. Thought it seemed odd, but I actually hope its not for a few hours so I can do a friends visit one more time :P

Ok, less obnoxiously now. I assume that the update will come somewhere between noon and 3 pacific time (3-6 ish EST).

Although, when you assume, you make an a-s-s out of you and me....

The UK got it at 10.30 pm, so ill assume its then, will it be an in-app update or will it be downloadable from the App Store? That is the question?

I predict the update will push through the second I finish my last friends loot run for Xmas coins tonight....leaving me me with 300 coins flushed down the tubes....also, I will have just harvested from my decorated houses as well.

Oh, and that will be 15 seconds before my Homer / Marge / Bart / Flanders finish their last Xmas tasks, too. So that will actually be 300+ coins down the hopper.

Well at least they are finally addressing the Homer bug. It's been going on for a very long time. I have found, though, it doesn't happen if he is Mayan Homer or Hipster Homer. So he is constantly riding his fixie in my town.

If there is a update today it will happen sometime around 2pm till about 4pm est time. EA normally does updates around noon pst time.
