That doesn't happen anymore, if the simpson house is ready then you can collect it, come out, then go back after 45 seconds and it will be ready again. I have decided to put 3 brown houses in the bottom left corner and leave them uncollected so if anyone visits then there will always be 3 houses to collect christmas coins from.
