Hoarding Prospectors

well once act 3 starts there will be 4 crafting materials avaialble. So when you send then out they will get all 4 and not just hats and picks

I'm willing to bet there will be plenty if time.

I've been dumping on my neighbors :mrgreen: even bought a few extra, well..just because it's fun and to make up for being a lousy neighbor for the past few months. Unfortunately about half of them apparently haven't started playing or there's a glitch, because I can't drop on them. ...and then there's the invisible ones, like Newcastlenia :(

This event is a lot like last years Halloween when we dropped the purple nightmares. If memory serves me, there were plenty by Act 3. But these prospectors are a lot harder to see/find.

true but if you can easily complete everything in the first 2 acts without using them it will give you a huge jump on act 3 like it did with the casino game tokens last time

In act 3 will we be able to craft additional items (deco,buildings) like past events or will it be this railyard type setup that just allows us to progress through the prize track now?

I have no idea.
what i do know is that the very few prospectors i did send out came back with picks and hats and there were 2 other categories there that we are not collecting yet. guns and coins.
i have no idea if there is actually crafting or if it will be the same as the store for the daily things and some will then require these other materials as well.

Hoarding is great and all but with the event just starting out I'd rather have people share Prospects around. This'll help with having a swift start for all so skins/characters/buildings which pay out event currency will be reached earlier.

I'll start hoarding once there's a pulse on the events' pace and I know people can keep up.

true but for someone like me that will have very little time to play during act 3 because i will be away i would like to do what i can do make act 3 go much easier.

Maxx, in that case I think I would hoard, too, or you may miss out on some good prizes. Send me a request if you want and I'll drop some your way. I'll make a spot, but right now I'm not sure how many 'invisible' neighbors I have. I wish they'd get that fixed already.
