- Just curious what one looked like. Their entire town is like that
- Imagine hundreds (or even thousands) of houses lined up like those brown houses in your pic. That is what I think people mean by a house farm.
Your pics look more like Tetris meets TSTO. :) I have a friend with a town like that. He keeps his town clear for my tapping and he visits me. So he stays on my list. I can look at pretty towns elsewhere. - I would delete you from my friends list if I saw that, I hate disorganized towns with everything on top of each other.

I don't really understand it, but it doesn't bother me. What is really weird to me is that they have land that is just empty and everything is crowded together. I thought they may be working on redesigning their town, but I haven't seen anything change.

http://i.imgur.com/xJBZMGQ.jpg - A house farm can be helpful, but never looks that great. I tried to make one, hated it, and turned it into a community with roads and trees and such, so it looks nice. Brown house farms are ok to me, because it helps create something that someone can always tap on. If no land expansion comes, I may have to farm up some of my houses soon. I've found the edges of the world! :)
Not ragging on anyone for this... I simply don't understand worlds where everything is just put in there without any roads or anything. I don't understand how it's fun, but as someone here said, I have a few Springfields like that, and they tap me and I tap them, so it's all good. - I have a blue house farm, a White House farm and a pink house farm. I have a small brown house farm that I dont tap, so that visitors needing FP can still get them after I have gone through and tapped everything. But around those I have tried to make the rest of the town look really nice. If EA would stop adding buildings that cost 800,000 +, I'd be able to decommision a lot of these. I believe at last count I had around 650 buildings in the house farm.

Exactly what I thought. House Tetris - From searching the forum I see this topic keeps coming up (What's a house farm?), so I thought I'd take two pictures.
The first is truly a farm. Blue houses in all directions, no space between them, no decorations.
This next is a also a farm, but some attempt has been made to spread the houses out and put in some decorations.
