How does Socialism Work?

Add more friends?

I think it's past time we return to an absolute monarchy. Much easier if my Emperor (or Empress!) tells me what to do, that would be a load off my mind.

If it helps, I don't know how Socialism works, I am very very anti-social. I just don't like being around other people discussing stuff - I don't have a problem with other people, I just simply chose to ignore them because if I conversed with them that might make me a sociable person. I decided I don't like the word sociable, so I try my best to make sure that I am not sociable which apparently makes me unsociable, although I prefer the word "anti-social" kinda like "anti-freeze" without being like "anti-freeze" because anti-social is nothing like anti-freeze, well with exception to the fact that both are anti-something

Anti social apart from participating on a social platform?

So I have over 15 friends on tapped out and I constantly visit them and they visit me, but my Socialism section is at Zero stars. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong because I am not really sure. Thanks ??

How long have you been playing? It can take a while for it to increase, especially if you haven’t been able to visit friends due to a recent bug (nothing to tap on). This is an old thread from another site explaining about socialism, which I assume is still relevant:

I’ve been playing for about two months and I’m level 75, at first I never bothered to complete the friends task, so I just payed donuts for them, but now I have been adding new friends and visiting daily for about four days, and my Socialism meter is still at zero.

@randyshat69 just keep visiting and it goes up eventually, I only visit OS and have 3 stars, I've got Stampy and about half way through the next section.
I'm level 205 and have been playing for a bit over two years.

I don't have any friends and only use OS.
Cannot remember which Friendship level I'm on but I have got the Lighthouse.
I have 4.5 stars for Socialism.
I don't know if that helps at all.

In early days of my game, I kept 100 active friends and visited them daily. Not sure if that was a requisite but I did achieve 5 stars eventually.
