Still a little confused as to how this works, does it really matter if I trade for big or little plans?

Then the "clues" from these go into a big pool that builds over the length of the event and that's what unlocks the main Act1,2,3 prize tracks?
So is the General store like crafting where I can create multiple items? Or they just unlock once?
