I've been a player since the game come out, as soon as a premium item is introduced I purchase it (unless it's around for ages, there are some premium items I don't have because I can purchase whenever I want). I've easily spent 400+ on this game and that's being nice. All my iTunes money at Christmas and birthday goes onto this game. No regrets :D

Very few games I own have stood the test of time with my attention span. Minecraft if the only game I can think of right now that I play more of.So why not put money into what you like? I have used personally 600 euros, but some of that has been used in Krustyland and some to KL tickets. i've also skipped event things to get prices and used some tp get eggs in the easter event. So I've used maybe 400-500 in the normal buildings.

I spent a total $600 for past 2 years, max level, owned one of everything, and avoid speeding tasks. No house farm, and no deliberate buying/selling stuff for XP boost.

Back in Sep 2013 some people did a calculation based on buying one of every premium item; all the events to that point. It came out to just over 7,000 donuts. There were only 34 levels at that time. I have not found an update on this.

Hard to put a dollar figure on donuts. SO assuming boatloads were bought at today's current prices, that would be roughly $300 ish dollars for 7,000 ish donuts. Not as bad as I expected. I expected some to be over $1,000.

Right, and we have 42 levels today and there were more events since that 7,000 was calculated.

So taking up from where the last calculation was done at 7066 donuts (Sep 2013), and using information on the net regarding what items there were and how much they cost, I was attempting to get an up-to-date cost of buying one of each premium item. But this cannot really be done, because the donut cost sometimes changed even during the event!
This is probably why I cannot find such a calculation on the net; it is not well defined.

My stab at it came up with approximately 4,500 since Sep 2013 and up to and including the July 4th mini-event.

Of course, I have no way to know how much someone would have spent on the various wheels/boxes trying to win items, so that's not included at all.

That's approximately 11,500 donuts.
