I feel the same, it's weird. This is the first time an event has actually felt like a bit of an anti-climax. I also find the whole egg swapping thing a lot more complicated than the usual system. I was expecting to win eggs from clicking houses or bunnies in friend's towns, whereas the only neighbour related thing is exchanging eggs in the baskets, which you might not don't need to do for ages anyway.

This is not true at all. You get pink or blue eggs from tapping their houses. Have you not visited friends yet? You get 0 eggs for graffiti, 0 eggs for tapping on Clausco, Shamrock Cafe, and Present Depot (metal xmas tree). The rest award tons of eggs (at the start - then it diminishes like FP).
