it's throwing an almighty hissy fit. Keeps telling me there is another springfield on my device at level 6 but it's not mine. I've signed out and back in again but it still keeps coming up with the same message. Guess I'd better leave it a while to see if it sorts itself out.

No, you're not! It's down for me too. Figures Herman's had just finished building.

Edit: The Origin server status page confirms it's down, well for the UK at least.

I get into the game, but can't see my friends and when pressing 'add' it tells me origin is down

mine is down too. tried a few times. will wait a while it will eventually come back. This tends to happen with new updates.
