You are on your own regarding keeping track of who visited, so far the only method is to read the name of the visitor when the handshake is cleared and write it down.

I was just thinking about this today. Now that I have a friends list full of active friends I do get a lot more visits than with my previous set of friends. About 2/3 of my friends list are new friends added just before the THOH event. Several times in the last two days I have had about half of my buildings with handshakes. I figure with than many to collect and possibly several times a day like that there would be no need to ever collect a building that wasn't a handshake. But then that had me wondering. It is my understanding that a friend can only tap a building if it has a collection available but not tapped by another friend. And then I remember the stonecutters event where all of them were available to be tapped at all times except those already tapped by another friend until they were cleared. So it had me wondering why it doesn't work more independent like that. So that we don't have to be concerned with: is there stuff for my friends to tap. But then maybe I'm just over thinking the whole thing as it isn't anything to be concerned with as long as we don't go crazy clearing everything as soon as it becomes available to collect.
