Kang (or Kodos?) shooting at ray gun
I've seen this as well I presume it's a bug. However it may be a way for people who didn't get Kang to get him as a character. That is pure speculation though

Possible but I think unlikely since Sideshow Mel is directly related to the cannon for a mission.
