Kang (or Kodos?) shooting at ray gun
I've seen this as well I presume it's a bug. However it may be a way for people who didn't get Kang to get him as a character. That is pure speculation though

Okay, that answers my question, thanks. Sadly, this means that I won't be seeing flying Kang, though. It is wicked of the developers to tantalize people with Kang since he was available only during the Halloween event. :)
