Though there was a moment where the whole theatre went silent with some hush wow.. followed by some giggling reaction. I am no longer yearning for EP 9 after this episode

Now they claim it’s not appropriate for children, and is under threat of book burning. These children and their father taught me so much. I love my Grandma <3 for teaching me “compassion” and making me curious about people I’ve may never meet. The next story she read to me was authored by Pearl S. Buck. (all Rather heady for an immigrant from Finland)I love this story. I hope it inspires others.

https://i.imgur.com/WGxOD5a.jpgAlong with the Gods : The Two World's (2017). This Korean film is the second most viewed domestic film in the history of Korea. The premise of the film, which you would be told right in the beginning, is that once a person passes away, he will go through 7 Courts of hell to determine his reincarnation outcome in 49 days. Each court will address the severity of the sin it handles and determines the appropriate punishment or acquittal. This star studded film is ladened with CGI and some are quite good. The background story of the person under trial will unravel like a mystery as the film progresses. There are some comedic moments and also touching moments. Overall, it is just an ok film for me. I did go away feeling like there are more goodness I need to strive for.

New mystery crime thriller whodunit on Netflix. I really enjoyed this one. It kept me engaged and had great performances. The ending wasn't as unpredictable as I had hoped but was still solid. A good watch

No Hard Feelings (2023) An R rated comedy with some eye popping moments. As a whole it was pretty good and has a heart.

Thought this was a hilarious movie. Jennifer Lawrence really gave it her all for this and did great. The last half dialed down the comedy for a expected conclusion but was still a great watch for me.

Yeah not very good at all lol. Works best as a family film to watch with little ones who want a to watch a "scary" movie that doesn't actually scare them :)

I don't remember much of Edgar Allan Poe books. I wonder if I could appreciate. I read some abridged versions in my childhood. Generally very entertaining but I forgot the names of the characters

You don't need to know his works to enjoy. Works fine on it's own

The final Netflix miniseries by the talented Mike Flanigan before he moves to another streaming platform. I would put this series right behind Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Hill House in terms of my favorites. Really enjoyed this one. Well crafted and well acted. Loved how the various Edgar Allen Poe stories, characters, and images were weaved throughout the series. A good watch.

Sound of Freedom (2023) Based on a true story. Plot was dark and ugly. I was impressed that it was even made. Good acting by Jim. At times it could make your eyes wet. A good watch.
