Marvel Superhero or Avengers Event

I didn't respond to the Star Wars thread, but apparently we don't all understand this so I'll say it - Disney owns both marvel and Star Wars. We will not be seeing either in a FOX property.

There is quite a few classic Simpson characters that can still be added to the game via events or tieins so why do we need to add stuff that really has nothing to do with the show.

Uh, why do you think they did the Superheroes event? To jump onto the bandwagon...

the superheroes were actually from the Simpsons comics though. Marvel and Avengers arent

We've just had a superhero event ? So no.

I think your thinking of family guy.......... And I'm super glad this isnt that....
I like that our things stay simpsons- if they want to throw things in that way- cool..... There are many references to charectors on the show dressing as things from other shows, or little decorations and stuff that come from other shows.... If they want to go there, ok. But I don't need a full out event or update based on something else.
Something else should just get its own game if it wants me to play with it. :mrgreen:

Yes. This!

With all the amazing material they have to choose from, I don't think they need to incorporate anything else. Why not a Flying Hellfish event? A Movementarian event? A Jebediah Springfield event? Or (a girl can dream) a Maggie event?

Edit: Actually, if they're going to borrow from any franchise, I think it should be the X-Files. Someone else presented this idea earlier, but I think it makes sense. 1) There's been a cross-over episode, so the characters already exist in the show 2) They're both on Fox 3) There's new episodes coming out soon so it would make for a good promotion. The two shows pretty much owned Sunday night in the 90s, so it would make for nice nostalgia.
