I've noticed this too, but I sent myself 5 seeds from my feeder town and it happend. I came back in later and the seed showed up again, so I got all 5 seeds after all.

Oh that's good to know. I had 2 feeder towns before I knew how to get more neighbours. I unfriended them both as my new neighbours were much better at visiting me than I was :) I've built the Monsarno building in the feeder I still play every few days as I could do with the extra seeds.

I seem to have another problem (well not a problem to me :D ). I always get three seeds from each neighbour (yes every single one). Now I don't suppose they are all leaving me three seeds as I only leave one for each neighbour at a time so something strange is going on!

This is all very confusing.

There are Seeds - which YOU drop in your neighbor's towns to become Sprouts.

Then there are Sprouts - which appear in your town when neighbors drop Seeds.

Please stop using the terms interchangeably.

Ok, I'm finished grousing now.

Near the end of Act 1 my primary town was a few spades short of getting another chance at donuts, so I dropped 6 seeds from my #2 town. Never got any Sprouts in my primary town. 4 hours later when the timer expired I got the payout in my #2 town.

Also, I've dropped any number of seeds into my neighbors towns right after they dropped some into mine, then had to wait 4 hours for the payout. Of course there's the possibility that they immediately quit playing after dropping the seeds, but... It makes me wonder.

Hi Wadebear, I am sorry for any confusion. I am referring to the mutant seeds that you drop in your friends' towns. They change to the squishy green blobs to tap. That is what I am seeing the issue with. When my neighbor drops to me, they never show in my town to squish.

Hi Obake, I do see I can do the find friends links and function. I have been playing since before whacking day, so am trying to challenge myself for a bit on the FP prizes. Kind of like a mini quest between events. ?. I also enjoy the challenge of trying the events now without a lot of friends (just for now).

Hi. Just an update. This issue still exists. I just chatted with EA. There is no resolution. The rep actually disconnected the chat prior to it being complete. He said that the mutant seeds only give bragging rights. However, I believe they drop event currency. At this late stage I am not expecting a "fix". Thanks again for all the helpful tips everyone on this site gives. Good luck in these final hours of the event
