Neighbors not in Stonecutters event: Tapping or passing by?

I waited until last weekend and then I deleted any neighbors I had that weren't in the event. There's a whole thread of people looking for new friends, so it didn't take long to replace them.

Always tap all my neighbors, I do the Event ones first to make sure the Emblems get used right and the game doesnt take em away for non event friends, but I do every single friend.. why would a event change that? lazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
