No extra turtles?
Looks like Homer's Chiliad no longer lets you tap turtles more than once, pity as trying to beat my record was only reason I kept squishing turtles.

They make useful decorations. I use them as reeds in my swamp area.
The best thing you can win from the Insanity Cauldron is the Light Up Elder God which has a multiplier, but they are rare. :)
