That's disheartening to hear about (the last book being disappointing). I'm currently half way through the fourth book and was looking forward to the fifth. Oh well, I'll continue to read on regardless.

We have a tv channel in Canada called Teletoon Retro that plays a lot of the good 80's Saturday morning cartoons like
He-Man, Transformers, Thundercats, GI Joe and JLA. I love that channel!
I wasn't disappointed in Dance with Dragons. It wasn't as exciting as the other books but it did move the plot along to the point that I think Winds of Winter is going to be awesome. I really really hope we don't have to wait another 5 years for the book!!
Yes, five years was an insane wait for the last book. I really felt like not much actually happened. I felt that it plodded along a bit, and that it was way too much dialogue. Dany was stuck in a city... again.
