PSA: BE CAREFUL TAPPING THE BEARS

Happened to me once this morning. After that I looked for bears in open areas or areas with no tappable buildings. Just watch where you tap and it shouldn't be a problem. :)

Is it definitely the first 50 taps no matter what or could it be the first 50 bears? It would be great to spread the bears across more friends by tapping one bear in each.

Friend Actions are for the first 50 taps whatever you tap. So if you tap the silly little Irish elves or a building that's away from the pacifiers you would've earned.

Me too. Looked for empty spaces after that and then waited awhile and the bears come to you :)
If it was a hopelessly crowded town I'd just go to another, one can always come back later to just tap buildings.

Here is my neighbor visiting strategy. After I stop getting pacifiers from tapping the bears, I only tap buildings if available. This way, I'm helping to prevent future visitors to that town from accidentally tapping buildings instead of bears. Also, it helps my neighbors and I might get free donuts! :D

I've been tapping my buildings so that theres a less chance of neighbors tapping one instead of a bear and losing that pacifier :D

Its hard keeping them all tapped though. especially the ones that refresh quickly.

Ugh, I don't know why EA didn't keep the houses and stuff untappable this time. It's so annoying.

I won't lose my progress and have to start over if I re-download the game?

No, if you log back in with your Origin ID, your town will be re-loaded where you left it.
