didnt homer already had a 16h task to do his job?

I saw the new job its from the fourth of July questline. Lol instead of giving tasks to characters that need them they give another one to Homer :roll:

I wonder if this new addition (Giles having his own section) means that he'll stay permanently and when this offer ends, another will take its place, and so on. Offering past items? Or exclusive ones?

I thought that might be the case, seems like this new idea has legs, perhaps even leading to Gil becoming a playable character.

Homer has had the 16 hour plant shift task since I've been playing, which is now over a year. I think you're finishing the 4th of July questline where Homer has a new 16 hour safely does his job task, but it's only temporary. On the bright side, you get 2 donuts after completing that quest if I can remember correctly.

Yeah, I thought it was familiar, I think someone said it's been used a couple of times, so there's a chance it's just junk code from the past that has been accidentally activated again.

Has anyone tried doing it? Maybe it's a random easter egg that'll give us something fun.

just did it and it's a normal job at the plant
