I've never had any of the issues on any device I've played on over the course of nearly 2 years.
started:
iPod Touch gen 2 (no longer supported)
Transitioned to:
iPod Touch gen 4 (no longer supported)
Transitioned to:
Galaxy tab 7.1 gen 1 (haven't used in a while)
Transitioned to:
iPhone 5S
