- They used to give 3 parking lots in a mystery box, now they give one. Guess how I found out.
- @TC exactly. I made a topic about how Lisa now says "Yes!" or "Alright!" when she's assigned a task. Moe and Martin's changes were also pointed out. The Java Server quest was only 10min for the first time you assign it, I believe. Good job listing them all. :-)

Actually, before the level 21 update (when Martin was added), CBG's Java Server visit was always 10 minutes.
I know this because I have Lard Lad and his 5-minute task there would pull in $15, but 10 minutes at Java Server only got you $17 (this is because Lard Lad is a premium item). (But, I'd sometimes send CBG to JS for variety.)
Also, CBG's first visit to JS is the full eight hours, not 10 minutes. (I started a second Springfield later and by the time I got CBG in that game, the task time had been changed.)
I also have the Aztec Theater and CBG's 6-hour task there pulls in more than an eight-hour job anyway, so I never missed not having an 8-hour gig for him.
When they added Martin (who has a 10-minute job), the developers also switched Milhouse's puppy goo goo task to 10 minutes (from 30). So, I suppose they switched the Java Server visit to 8 hours just to even things out a bit.
One other change I've noticed since the Halloween update is the animation of the Kwik-E-Mart.
An empty store has closed doors and the A/C on the roof is turned off.
Originally, a store with people in it would have a moving A/C and open doors.
Now, a Southwest-facing store with people inside is the same as before (operating A/C with open doors), but a Southeast-facing store only has the rotating A/C fan. The doors remain closed...
I used to have a Southeast-facing store and right after the Halloween update, the doors would open to allow a customer, but then immediately close. The closed doors bugged me to the point where I changed the building's orientation to see what would happen. And the doors remained open.
Weird change, if you ask me.- Wow. Excellent eye for detail, Michelle. I doubt I noticed more than a third of the items you mentioned.
- Something I have noticed within the last week or so is I have a row of brown houses. Well after I am done tapping and checking to see if I missed anything the brown houses change to different buildings I have in town. One time I had three Moe's in a row another time it was Willies shack. Nothing game changing but funny indeed

You have a great sense of observation! I didn't notice anything about the Kwik-e-markt doors. I'll be more attentive!
About Martin's 10 mn task, I noticed too that he's now walking around. But what I found amusing since the beginning, it's that you assign him to "smell roses" but he actually smells snapdragons :-)
The same is with Squeaky Voice Teen. He used to advertise burgers standing still in one place. Now he advertises walking around the entire town. - When I first started playing in August, I'm pretty sure the gazebo needed to be unlocked via a quest.
And after the gazebo was placed, I'm sure I had to send Skinner, GBG, and Lisa to a Mensa meeting.
But in and alternate game I started more recently, I never got a gazebo quest and just built one when I noticed the "locked" icon in CBG's list of jobs.
(I wonder if they did away with the quest aspect when Martin was added to the game during the level 21 update, as he also gets to attend the Mensa meetings...)
Anyone else notice this one? michelleus66 wrote:

I have noticed the exact same thing you did! I thought I was the only one. haha.
Also, I realized my quests keep repeating and it's taking longer now to unlock buildings. Like for example, before the library was built, I've gotten a quest to send Millhouse and Bart for a sleepover, so I did and they have already completed the quest. Now the library has been built, the quest to send Millhouse and Bart for a sleepover pops up again. So strange. I'm not complaining, I get more XP and cash when the quests are completed. It's just kinda sending me in tiny quest loops. LOL.
I suspect that this could be due to the fact that new levels were injected after the original game was launched and this kinda screwed up the quest sequence.- With the Christmas/winter update, the thickness of the red brick walls was reduced.
Unfortunately, it now means there are gaps in the corners of walls (which kind of defeats the purpose of walls in the first place).
IMO, the walls were too thick before, but the gaps make them look really odd now. (Hopefully, they'll be further tweaked in future updates.)
