- Cool. And maybe we could lift the train in the air and put it on a single rail instead of two...
Seriously though, I don't think they would put something in where people would need to rearrange their entire SF to put tracks down. The building would look good, though. HappyGamer73 wrote:

That's why I suggested adding a new section. Right now we just have Krustyland and the main city. Smurfs also added the train to a new section of the game. A new mountains area would allow us to build a new city that's build around the train. They could also give us the highly requested dirt for the mountains area.- That would require quite a bit of land to be released, which is not likely based on recent history. I can only imagine the lag and other problems that would be introduced with such a land package. We can dream, though...

Smurfs kept adding land to the main village for a very long time. Eventually they were not able to add more land expansions to the main city. That's pretty much where TA is at right now. Smurfs then started to add new sections. First we got an island, then a mountains area and most recently we got a space section. When you go to a new section the game reloads, so it's different from adding additional land to the main Springfield. I don't think adding a new area would make the game lag.
I mention smurfs because that game came before TA and was the inspiration for TA.

A lot of TA was inspired by Smurfs. Does this castle look familiar:

Sounds good, but I'm afraid you'll have to get in line behind the Monorail people.
And that's a loooong line.
Id rather have the train station- What about allowing us to place things on the mountain portion of our screen that's already present in the background?
Or instead of just plain green screen on the edges of our town, we could choose between segments of a few different "wallpapers" that had images of mountain with tracks on it, just tracks, trains, monorails, or Springfield Gorge, or??
If they then sell the monorail-wreck as a game. Item, the crash site would be an item on my actual land, and the background "wallpaper" would make it appear that I also have tracks in the background. I could put the crash site at any spot along that side of town, and choose strips of background wallpaper to make it appear the monorail came out of my mountains.
Did that make any sense?
Purely for the sake of showing the CONCEPT about the "wallpaper" .... - A railroad with a station would be nice right about now.
Sadly for all the great ideas people were coming up with we'd need a ton of new land. Unless that happens, I'm afraid these will just be dreams for a while. annettemarc wrote:

If they need inspiration, they could look at the train set layouts on YouTube:- I'm a train person so yes please!
As much as the monorail would be a nice addition I love the train station design and idea- you can tap the station and the train horn sounds and if someone uses it you can have the train coming and going... llovany wrote:

Just to side track oh how I'd love to get a stone path tile, or dirt tiles as in your picture
