In addition to the above (great tip!!)......
I've decided to not squish any skeletons at all over the weekend. As a mostly freemium player, I only have 2 out of my 15 kids producing them, and at 2 x2, that's only 4 skele's for 4 hours.
This way I'll at least start off on Monday having the full bank of 20 skeletons wandering about, and give me a solid head start on that days "Squish 30 Skeletons" Shopkeeper's Challenge.
It's not like I need bunches of the other nightmares for crafting over the weekend...... and even if you do, you still can get craftables from squishing the "Ood" (lil m'nthsters) over the weekend.
