So I just found this out the hard way.
Easiest way to get all your nightmares is to put all the brown houses near each other and store the irs building.
I found out that when you collect after the kids are done hunting nightmares it doesn't mean the nightmares are going to spawn right there. I had nightmares spawning near brown houses on the other side of the map so I just put a bunch of brown houses in one section and stored the rest.
