If that's so why didn't they just completely remove it from the game? They could have refunded everyone donuts. As long as it in everyone's town it is still in the game!!

Mapple store was FREE

It was free during the Holiday 2012 event as it was one of the prizes. But it became a premium building after the event that you could buy if you missed out on it just like Barney's Bowlarama, the Funzos, Santas Little Helper & such.

Once the game came to Android devices, the Mapple Store was taken off the buy menu & can no longer be obtained.
