I totally agree. It is a POS "gift." I like it about as much as I like having a bowl of cold spaghettios and a flat Coke.
I've pretty much lost interest in the game for several reasons...
1) lots of buildings with no tasks associated with them
2) No new land so there's no way to decorate my town nor the motivation. I'd keep playing if I had ways to use all of my buildings which are stored in my inventory.
3) Conned into developing Krustyland - there hasn't been a task there forever and they keep adding rides... No new decorations there either - what's the point?
4) the icing on the cake? That train. It actually pissed me off. I didn't know what I had been given because I already had several in my inventory.
And for all of you who were delighted to get this crappy "gift" -----You must be kidding me. You couldn't spin the wheel and land on that thing? I must have a magic iPad because I cleared that stupid wheel in two days.
I do not need another multiplier because I'm a premium player. I earn a ridiculous amount every day due to the tons of s::t multiplying in my town every day. I'm delighted for anyone who is actually helped by getting this multiplier but it is a terrible community prize. It's a great prize for new players but it's a joke for people like Josh and myself who have shelled out real currency to create premium towns.
Now, before you all tell me that no one forced me to spend money, just STFU. No kidding... I'm not complaining about that... I'm complaining about what is happening in the present, the terrible tasks... I don't want Brandean to gestate for 90 days! I don't want to send another person to shop at the KEM. I long for the fun storylines like Kamp Krusty. Growing a rose bush every day is a pretty dull story. Why didn't Comic Book Guy have a quest with Komiko? Huh? Why no task with the Up-Up and Buffet? Why no new stores on Squidport or tasks to go with our boats or that costly whale? Pull_Up_A_Chair wrote:

I logged in what seems forever just to agree with this post I kept thinking I was missing quests first with komiko and then the up-up and buffet. I actually came to the forums both times to see what I was doing wrong only to leave annoyed and perplexed. I mean it is not like there is a lot going on in this game so it is these questlines that make it worth playing for me and lately they haven't been. That and why should I as a premium player keep seeing "new" stuff I already have, like I said this isn't a complicated game if there isn't new stuff it gets stale fast look at krustyland I don't visit there because there really hasn't been anything to change around.- Thanks for the 4th thread complaining about the "gift". We already know it sucked.
