- I can't remember what happens if your characters are out collecting crafting materials and the event ends. Do we get the equivalent in game cash for the amount of hours for that task or does everyone just end up wandering around?

I hope it ends tomorrow. All these events are giving me event fatigue. I just want a month of no events and a couple of level updates instead. They keep making events that require too much time and attention. It's starting to feel like a job
I love that they're coming out with more events but they need to ease up on the requirements. It's becoming a drag...
I don't mind these events but the execution of this one can definitely give one fatigue especially the hourly tasks.
This whole crafting business is becoming so old!
I'm a little annoyed too because someone made a thread about it and I wrote up a whole nice reply and it was deleted!
I just wish they made events simpler, like they used to be.
I'm right there with you. So sick of crafting events. I made a similar thread too and it was "merged/deleted". The long and short, I ended up with two items (farmers market and one cane field). I'm not a casual player and was on every day and did most of Cecils tasks. Ugh..
Too much updating the buildings not enough crafting? Anyway, I too am reading for something else.johncolombo wrote:

My sentiments exactly! I could use 3-4 weeks of down time.- I've crafted a load of cactus patches.lol
- The event ends tomorrow? Now that's something new. Only, the event's timers have been telling us that for weeks now.
- @Nova_Polari -- Thank you so much for the title change. It's perfect! :)
Does anyone remember what part of last year it was that they had nothing for what seemed like ages? I've been trying to figure it out. Wasn't it, like, 6 weeks with nothing, or is my memory just blowing it out of proportion.
These events seem nonstop now. I had to laugh this time when they had the event, and stuck in the new level (I've lost track of the numbers ... ) and then along came the tie-in (was that related to the costumes?) I feel like it's a roller coaster, and have lost track of which events had which special effects, etc.
A break sure sounds good, but I don't think it should go too long.
EA's timing could have been better thought-out, IMHO. This event took a lot of time, and was rather chaotic, in the midst of final exams, graduations, etc. for a lot of student-players. Now school vacation is beginning at the exact time the event ends, and it would be sort of ironic to have nothing going on in the game just as the students find their time is available to play.
Just my opinion. :)
