@Nova_Polari -- Thank you so much for the title change. It's perfect! :)
Does anyone remember what part of last year it was that they had nothing for what seemed like ages? I've been trying to figure it out. Wasn't it, like, 6 weeks with nothing, or is my memory just blowing it out of proportion.
These events seem nonstop now. I had to laugh this time when they had the event, and stuck in the new level (I've lost track of the numbers ... ) and then along came the tie-in (was that related to the costumes?) I feel like it's a roller coaster, and have lost track of which events had which special effects, etc.
A break sure sounds good, but I don't think it should go too long.
EA's timing could have been better thought-out, IMHO. This event took a lot of time, and was rather chaotic, in the midst of final exams, graduations, etc. for a lot of student-players. Now school vacation is beginning at the exact time the event ends, and it would be sort of ironic to have nothing going on in the game just as the students find their time is available to play.
When would be a good time worldwide? It's perfect timing down here cause it's almost winter and nothing is going on. There's no perfect time to please the entire world - My post ended up going in to what I quoted but hopefully you can figure it out lol

The event ends tomorrow? Now that's something new. Only, the event's timers have been telling us that for weeks now.
There is two timers. One said it was ending in nine days but that one is wrong.- I think there will be some time off, they will rerelease the Fourth of July stuff, Giuseppe workshop, etc.

It's been an interesting event for sure, however, my fingers are
OOPS! It's 3 o'clock, I gotta go work the land! johncolombo wrote:
I'm seriously considering storing all large items that are not associated with a character. I may even store my elevator to no where. Maybe put away most things that creep and crawl around. When I look at the towns I like most are they are more minimal with emphasis on clever design.
I'm thinking seriously about doing this too. Even the occasional land update just isn't cutting it anymore. As much as I dislike the thought of storing things I bought with donuts, it may be the only way to let me continue what I like best about the game, designing my town.- will wake up in the morning, collect my last bit of craft materials and see what's left to build.
